Botcon 05

Botcon 2005 was a really great show, especially as it was Master Collector's first attempt at a Transformers show. Held is Frisco Texas under hurricane warnings, it was not very well attended. The exclusive toys were very cool, but they did not make nearly enough of the "souvenier" toys. Brian Savage of Master Collector/Fun Publications, made it very clear why the show was being held in September. It is clear that Botcon is a moeny maker for them, but they do not have any committment to the Transformers fan community, or they would not move it from the summer, when far more people take vacations. I can see an awful lot of people not being able to attend in September, but I guess time will tell.
